Collection: Magpie Brewery

Ken, Bob and Nick who were all keen home brewers and had already perfected their homebrew recipes, thought it was about time to scale it up and fill their days with their love of beer.

In 2006 a premises was found on the edge of Nottingham city centre and Magpie Brewery was born.

With the addition of Ken's son Gavin in 2010, production has steadily increased, and in 2017 our modest 6 brewery barrel plant was upgraded, so we can now produce up to 20 barrels per brew. Another Nick has now joined the brew team and showed so much talent we let him loose as our experimental brewer which has led to most of the new craft keg range recipes!

The heart and soul of our beer comes from our love of the craft and passion for using the finest British ingredients, no short cuts, no compromise.
